You can step into a child’s world with pretend kitchens. Having a pretend kitchen in your home means you’re going to be doing much more than just watching your child play all on their own. Sure, it is rather exciting to see your child use their imagination to its fullest. It is right out fascinating. But what happens when you become a part of the play? They can play a game such as "restaurant" and pretend that you are a customer. They can take your order, make your food, serve your food, and collect your money. There are some play kitchens that have chalk boards on them so that the child can write down the day’s special. Even if the child cannot read and write yet, they will feel great putting their own writing on that chalk board and telling you what the special of the day is.

Furthermore, you will find that your stress level will decrease because stepping into a child’s world means only having a child’s worries, which are pretty much non-existent.
